Welcome Dear Readers!

You are holding the first copy of "The Magnifier" in your hands. It is the magazine of the English majors of Partium Christian University. We thank Professor P�ter Szaffk� for the idea of this students’ magazine and for encouraging us to launch this new project. At first we were full of doubts, but then... We realized we would be able to edit a magazine of our own. We do have something to say and we would like to share it with you.This journal is going to be a medium in which we can write about things which have nothing to do with the subjects we study. The writers and contributors of "The Magnifier" are the students themselves. So even you can become a member of our staff. We hope that this journal will be an opportunity for everybody to show their skills and talents. You can send in informative or creative writings, drawings, humour or anything that can be published in a students' magazine. Your works will shape the aspect of the magazine. If you have something to tell us either in prose or in verse, "The Magnifier" will publish it. Have you seen a play or a film that you would like to talk about? "The Magnifier" will help you with that.Therefore feel free to join the "magnifiers" and enjoy the magazine!
